Dishes, Dishes Who Does the Dishes?
Now that we answered how we like to do the dishes, I am curious as to who does the dishes in your home.
My Hubby does more than his fair share of loading the dishwasher. He has always been really good at that. I love him for the help he gives me on this account. I get the kids involved as much as I can, but I lost my magic 'doing the dishes' wand and can't seem to get them moving in that department as much.
They do help in other areas, so I trade and am usually quite content. We all have both our favorite chores and natural talents and that means we can negotiate chores, in my humble opinion.
So in my home the dishes are mostly done by Hubby, however, the pots and pans are usually mine. Go figure.....
So in your home:

I do all the dishes. Luckily my 4 year old is showing some interest in helping mommy out, so I wash and he rinses and puts the dishes in the drainer. He does a really good job!
ReplyDeleteI am the only one who does the dishes in my home. I don't mind it though. I just don't like putting them away when the dishwasher is done.
ReplyDeleteIt's all me, all the time. The only time my husband has done dishes is when I am really sick or when I am not home for a week. I have to be reeeaallly sick though. :)
ReplyDeleteBut I love to do dishes, by hand.
My husband does the most dishes in our home. Interesting to note that his father does the dishes. I guess he learned by example, and I am THANKFUL for it!

ReplyDeleteMy hubby cooks dinner for us (his choice). I typically load up the dish washer and unload it. Both of our boys are still too young, but they will help out down the road.
ReplyDeleteSharinskishe's Hubby says I really don't mind, sometimes I enjoy it (PSSST Don't Tell her)
ReplyDeleteThat would be me, me and me. Hubby can't even put his dirties in the dish washer. And I'm sure the thought of doing the hand-washing never crosses his mind!
ReplyDeleteI do the dishes here :) Sunnyboy likes to do them too, but at the moment they still need re-doing after he's finished!
